Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh had a thrilling Tuesday afternoon. The voters of the city were wooed by two massive political roadshows hosted ahead of polling on February 23.

On one hand Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah organised a roadshow in the city and on the other it was Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav together.

Thus the opposition parties had simultaneous and parallel roadshows on the same day in the same city. That is what we call the beauty of democracy. Here we bring you a few highlights from the two roadshows through pictures...
