'I Don’t Want To Marry Any Politician': Parineeti Chopra's Old Clip Goes Viral On The Day Of Her Wedding

As AAP leader Raghav Chaddha and Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra set to tie the knot, a video clip of the latter claiming that she would not marry a politician has gone viral.

In an old interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress was asked who she would like to marry and whether she would tie the knot to a politician. Responding to the question, Chopra said, "There are too many (politicians) but the problem is I don't want to get married to any politician. I don't want to marry any politician, ever."

Interestingly, the video has gone viral on the day of her marriage.

The Bollywood actress is marrying AAP leader Raghav Chaddha in an elaborate ceremony on Sunday.

The festivities will commence with the choora ceremony of Parineeti Chopra, a daytime event scheduled for 10:00 am on Sunday. Following this, there will be a sehrabandi for Raghav Chadha at approximately 1:00 pm, and afterwards, the baraat will embark on a boat journey from the iconic Lake Palace to reach the wedding venue.

The Jaimala ceremony is set for around 3:00 pm, followed by the pheras and vidai, concluding by 6:30 pm. The reception is planned for 8:30 pm.

The celebrations commenced in Delhi on September 17 with traditional 'ardaas' and 'shabad kirtan', followed by intimate gatherings for immediate family members.

As per the reports, the theme of the wedding is set to revolve around nostalgia, specifically focusing on a '90s theme. The culinary aspect of the celebration will showcase a rich Punjabi spread, as both Parineeti and Raghav are Punjabi. Additionally, in the scenic locale of Udaipur, the menu will also incorporate local Rajasthani delicacies.
