Hyderabad Shocker: They were in love, they eloped, got married and then committed suicide

Hyderabad, May 18: 25-year-old Venkatesh and 24-year-old Preethi were in love with each other. However, their family members did not accept their relationship and the young couple decided to elope.

Venkatesh and Preethi were neighbours. According to sources, they got married recently against the wishes of their parents, but they decided to stay separately.

Finally, they booked a penthouse at Bahadurpalli and began their new lives as husband and wife. Venkatesh was an employee of a private firm in Gandimaisamma, Preethi was a home-maker.

It was like a dream came true for the young couple. But fate has something else in store for them. Within 10 days, their bodies were found hanging in the same penthouse.

Police informed that the owner of the penthouse discovered the bodies and informed the cops. It has been suspected that they couple might have committed suicide due to financial crisis. However, no suicide note has been found yet.

The investigating officers also informed that they have been investigating whether the couple was depressed as they were living separately from their families after marriage. The families were informed and the bodies were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.
