Hyderabad: 4-year-old missing girl found dead in neighbour's house

Hyderabad, Oct 19: A girl was missing for three days. Police, her parents failed to locate her whereabouts. Three days after the incident, the girl was found dead at the house of the neighbour.

The incident took place in Hyderabad and the deceased has been identified as 4-year-old Lasya.

According to police, the girl might be kidnapped and murdered over dispute between the two families.

It has been reported that Lasya was playing outside their house. After sometime, she went missing. Her parents lodged missing complaint. Cops could not find the girl.

Three days after filing missing complaint, Lasya's parents detected a foul smell which was coming from the house of their neighbour.

Lasya's parents and their relatives searched the house and found Lasya's body which was packed in a gunny bag kept in the kitchen loft.

Police suspected that accused strangulated Lasya to death. They will interrogate the accused and his wife, who are currently admitted in hospital.

The accused and his wife were beaten and assaulted by Lasya's parents and relatives. Police will interrogate them once they are discharged from hospital.

Speaking about the incident when Lasya's parents found the dead body, police official was quoted as saying, "When they opened the bag they were shocked to see Lasya's body in it with signs of throttling. We are investigating if any dispute between the families led to the murder."

"We will know the reasons, if Lakshmaiah (the accused) and his wife can talk. We will question them once they become normal," said the police official who registered a murder case against the two accused.
