"I cannot comment on the facts before the investigations. I request the government of Himachal Pradesh that they address the issues of the local people in a speedy manner. I offer condolences to the families of the deceased."
A local resident confirmed saying,"there was no hooter when the incident happened. I was in the market and we get to hear the hooter when the dam water is released."
