Hi-Tech Government School to Open in Greater Noida on March 19 Under Operation Kayakalp Initiative

A new government school in Mathurapur, Greater Noida, constructed at a cost of Rs 1.30 crore, is set to open on March 19. This development is part of Uttar Pradesh's 'Operation Kayakalp' scheme, aimed at modernising educational infrastructure, according to officials. State Minister for Basic Education Independent Charge Sandeep Singh will lead the inauguration ceremony.

New Hi-Tech School Opens in Greater Noida

The school is designed with state-of-the-art facilities such as smart classrooms and digital boards. Laboratories and inclusive education amenities are also included to prepare students for global challenges. Currently, 90 students are enrolled, with plans to increase this number to over 150 in the next academic session.

Inclusive Education Facilities

Special provisions have been made for children with special needs. The school includes ramps, railings, and assistive devices to ensure accessibility. Additionally, specially trained teachers will be appointed to support these students, ensuring they receive the necessary attention and care.

In line with the Green School model, the institution focuses on sustainable development and conserving natural resources. This approach not only benefits the environment but also educates students on the importance of sustainability.

Focus on Hygiene and Accessibility

Hygiene has been prioritised with RO-purified drinking water available and separate restrooms for boys and girls. Each classroom is equipped with digital boards to enhance teaching methods and improve student engagement.

The initiative aims to provide government schools with facilities comparable to private institutions. This ensures all students have equal educational opportunities, as stated by a government spokesperson. The project reflects Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas policy.

Vision for Equal Opportunities

Minister Sandeep Singh highlighted that this initiative aligns with the state's vision of integrating divyang students into mainstream education. The Mathurapur school serves as a model for this vision by offering inclusive classrooms and essential facilities.

This project represents a significant step towards modernising school infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. By providing high-end facilities, the government aims to ensure that all students receive quality education regardless of their background or abilities.
