Haryana's Mahila Samridhi Yojana Empowers SC Women With Loans
The Haryana Government has launched the Mahila Samridhi Yojana to support women from Scheduled Castes. This initiative aims to provide self-employment opportunities by offering loans of Rs 60,000 at a low-interest rate. Women can use this loan to start businesses like beauty parlours, boutiques, or tea shops.
To benefit from this scheme, women must be residents of Haryana and belong to the Scheduled Castes. The age requirement is between 18 and 45 years, and the family income should not exceed Rs 3 lakh annually. Necessary documents include an Aadhar card, identity card, residence certificate, bank account passbook, passport-size photo, and mobile number.

Interested women can apply online through the Saral Portal. First, visit the official website and click on "New User, Register Here." Fill in the registration form with the required details and submit it. After registration, log in using your ID and password.
Once logged in, click on "View All Services" and type "Mahila Samridhi" in the search box. Select the service name under HDFDC department for women's employment application. Fill out the online application form carefully and upload all necessary documents before submitting it.
The scheme is designed specifically for Scheduled Caste women who face financial difficulties or unemployment. The primary goal is to help them become self-sufficient by providing financial assistance to start their own businesses.
The Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation Department has advertised this scheme extensively. The state government aims to uplift women from SC categories by offering them a chance to improve their financial status through self-employment.
Benefits of Mahila Samridhi Yojana
This scheme offers a loan of Rs 60,000 at an annual interest rate of 5%. It helps women who wish to start small businesses but lack the financial means. The loan can be used for various business ventures within the budget of the applicant.
Women can use this loan to set up beauty parlours, boutiques, bangle shops, cosmetic shops, tea shops, sewing shops, or clothing stores. The scheme aims to fulfil their entrepreneurial dreams by providing necessary financial support.
The former Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, initiated this scheme to address the financial challenges faced by many women in the state. By offering low-interest loans, the government hopes to empower these women economically.
Women interested in availing themselves of this scheme must follow the application process diligently. By doing so, they can secure a loan that will help them start their own business and achieve financial independence.
This initiative is a significant step towards empowering Scheduled Caste women in Haryana by providing them with opportunities for self-employment and economic growth.
