Haryana Chief Minister Initiates Development Projects In Sirsa
Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, announced 13 development projects for Sirsa district, totalling over 78 crore rupees.
The event took place in the multipurpose hall of Ch. Devi Lal University. He inaugurated 5 projects worth 10 crore 35 lakh 65 thousand rupees and laid the foundation stone for 8 projects with a budget of 67 crore 66 lakh 72 thousand rupees.

During the event, Khattar emphasised the government's commitment to improving the lives of the poor and deprived. He mentioned that schemes aimed at Antyodaya have significantly impacted people's lives. "It is only because of the decisions taken for the transformation of the system that today, people are getting the benefits of the schemes while sitting at home, without having to make rounds of offices," he said.
The Chief Minister inaugurated five projects under the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board. These include a purchase centre in Sherpura village costing 2 crore 24 lakh rupees and a road from Panniwala Raldu to Panna Khokhar in Panniwala village costing 2 crore 61 lakh rupees. Other projects include roads from Sukhera Khera village to Asha Khera costing 1 crore 87 lakh rupees, Norang village to Aseer and Malikpura village to Zandalawala costing 1 crore 68 lakh rupees, and Jatana to Rampura Bishnoiya road costing 1 crore 93 lakh rupees.
Khattar also highlighted that elderly pensions are now generated automatically. The government has taken steps to improve education for poor children, provide medical treatment to those in need, and increase income for the poor. Under the Chief Minister's Urban and Rural Housing Scheme, houses are being provided to those in need.
The Chief Minister laid foundation stones for eight projects with a combined budget of 67 crore 66 lakh 72 thousand rupees. These include a Government College in Gorwala's Lambe costing 24 crore rupees and 26 sub-health centres in the district costing 14 crore 43 lakh rupees. Additionally, four block public health units will be built with an amount of 2 crore rupees.
Other projects include the expansion of Anaaj Mandi, Vegetable Market, and Timber Market costing 14 crore 84 lakh rupees. A purchase centre in village Dhond will be built with more than 2 crore 37 lakh rupees, while another purchase centre in village Kamal will cost more than 2 crore 19 lakh rupees.
Further developments include a link road from Gidder Khera village to Ganga to Godikan costing more than 3 crore 22 lakh rupees and a link from Raipur via Dhukda to Baruwali Second with a budget of more than 4 crore 60 lakh rupees.
Energy Minister Ranjit Singh, Deputy Commissioner RK Singh, former Governor Ganeshi Lal, former MP Dr. Ashok Tanwar, former MP Sunita Duggal, and other dignitaries attended the event.
The Chief Minister reiterated that these initiatives aim to bring about significant improvements in infrastructure and public services in Sirsa district. The focus remains on ensuring that benefits reach people directly without bureaucratic delays.
