Haryana Chief Minister Sanctions Rs 126 Crore For Rural Projects
Manohar Lal, Haryana's Chief Minister, has approved 22 projects under the rural development programme, aiming to enhance infrastructure in four districts.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has approved 22 major projects costing Rs 126 crore under the rural development programme. These projects will improve infrastructure in Hisar, Jind, Kaithal, and Sirsa districts.
An official spokesman said that a water supply scheme costing Rs 14.25 crore in Sisay village, Sirsa, will provide water through the Balsamand branch. This scheme aligns with the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Domestic tap connections will be provided to various dhanis in Narnaund and Hansi. These projects will cost Rs 3.90 crore and Rs 1.50 crore respectively. Projects worth Rs 4.10 crore have also been approved.
With a project costing Rs 46.59 crore, villages in Sirsa district like Bharukheda, Chormare Khera, Desu Joda, Gadrana, Habuana, Jottanwali, Khatrawan, Mangiana, Masitan, Nourang, and Sukhchain will get increased water supply of 70 litres per capita per day.
Ruralites of Jhora Rohi, Gidranwali, and Raguan villages in Sirsa district will benefit from improved drinking water supply of 70 litres per capita per day with a project costing Rs 13.65 crore.
Rs 3.30 crore has been earmarked for augmenting drinking water supply with 55 litres per capita per day in Patti Dogran village of Kaithal district.
Rs 2.12 crore and Rs 4.84 crore have been approved for Ashrafgarh and Sandeel villages of Jind district to provide 55 litres per capita per day drinking water.
This initiative by the state government aims to improve the standard of living for the rural population by providing basic amenities.
