Haryana Chief Minister Unveils New Support Measures For Farmers
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal announced a significant decision benefiting farmers. From 1st July to 15th July 2024, farmers can voluntarily increase the load of their agricultural tube-wells by applying on the portal. This decision was shared during a press conference following a cabinet meeting.
Moreover, the solar power requirement will not apply to tube-wells being re-bored. These tube-wells will receive electricity based on previous connections. This move aims to ease the process for farmers needing to shift their tube-wells.

When asked about Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Haryana, the CM confirmed that Shah will address an extended executive meeting of the party in Panchkula. Haryana in charge, Union Minister and MP Dharmendra Pradhan, and former Tripura CM and MP Biplab Deb will also attend. They aim to further strengthen the party's position in Haryana.
The CM expressed optimism about the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. He noted that people are enthusiastic and hopeful of forming the government for the third time under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Regarding solution camps, the CM mentioned that around 20 thousand applications have been received. Approximately 6 thousand of these have been resolved on the spot, with the remaining to be addressed promptly. This initiative aims to address public grievances efficiently.
Responding to another query, the CM affirmed that all NDA constituents remain united. He emphasized that BJP has always respected its affiliate parties, maintaining strong alliances within the NDA.
Additional Chief Secretary to CM, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Director General of Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture Department, Mandeep Singh Brar, Media Secretary Praveen Atre, and other officials were present at the press conference.
The recent decisions reflect Haryana's commitment to supporting its farmers and maintaining political unity. The upcoming events and initiatives indicate a proactive approach towards governance and public welfare.
