Haryana: BJP-JJP Likely To Part Ways, CM Manohar Lal Khattar May Tender Resignation Today: Reports
Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, tension accelerated for Haryana's Manohar Lal Khattar government as JJP has decided to part ways, said reports. The reports added that Dushyant Chautala's JJP was not happy with alliance partner BJP's decision to contest on all 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state, after which, the state party has now decided to break the alliance and take back its support.
This means the Haryana government will now collapse as they don't have the majority in the state assembly.

The reports have suggested that Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar may tender his resignation today. However, the saffron wing is trying its best to save the government and a panel of observers comprising Arjun Munda and Tarun Chugh, has been sent to Chandigarh from New Delhi to discuss the matter further.
The meeting between CM Khattar, his MLAs, and party observers has been scheduled for 11 am.
It is also speculated that the BJP may field Khattar as a Lok Sabha candidate from the Karna constituency.
Haryana has 90 assembly seats and 46 is the majority mark. In the last state elections, BJP won 41 seats, JJP won 10, and 6 independent candidates emerged victorious.
If the BJP managed to save the government, the party may replace the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar with potential candidates Nayab Saini and Sanjay Bhatia. Both the Jaat leaders have a massive following in the state and could be BJP's possible move to woo the Jaat voters of Haryana.
Notably, Nayab Saini is currently serving as head of Haryana BJP and is a front runner in the CM's race.
