Gurugram: Sacked employee opens fire at Japanese company’s HR head
Angry over being terminated, a sacked employee on Thursday shot a 50-year-old Human Resources (HR) head of a Japanese company in Gurgaon on Thursday morning.

The incident happened at around 9 AM when Binesh Sharma, HR head of Mitsubishi, while he was on his way to his office in Manesar. Two bike-borne assailants intercept Binesh Sharma's car on gun point. When he did not stop but accelerated instead, the pillion rider opened fire aiming to kill Sharma. They managed to escape from the spot. Some passersby called the police and Sharma was admitted to Rockland Hospital where he is said to be out of danger.
The accused has been identified as Joginder, who was sacked over his "unprofessional behaviour". It is learnt that Joginder had then threatened Sharma with dire consequences which the latter didn't take it seriously.
"When he did not stop but accelerated instead, the pillion rider opened fire aiming to kill Sharma," Gurugram Police PRO Ravinder Kumar told PTI.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered in the matter at the Bilaspur police station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
