Back in Gujarat, MLAs check into another resort
The Gujarat MLAs who were holed up at a Bengaluru resort to avoid poaching ahead of the Rajya Sabha elections have arrived in Ahmedabad.

Contrary to reports that they would be flown in Delhi first, the MLAs reached their home state directly amidst tight security. The RS polls are scheduled to be held on August 8. They have been taken to another resort. From there, the MLAs would be directly to the state assembly on Tuesday where they will vote. They are currently at the Neejanand resort at Anand.
The MLAs were taken to Bengaluru over a week back to avoid poaching. Senior Congress leader, Ahmed Patel faces a crucial RS election. He needs the support of 45 MLAs to win the elections.
