Growing Rift Between BJP And RSS Over PM Modi's Leadership Style

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its parent organization, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), are reportedly experiencing a growing rift. The RSS is said to be unhappy with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership style and his sidelining of senior BJP leaders.

Rift Emerges in BJP-RSS Over Modi s Style

Unlike in the past, the RSS is not actively campaigning for the BJP in the upcoming elections. BJP president JP Nadda claims the party has grown independently and no longer needs to rely on the RSS. There are also reports of growing dissent within the BJP against Modi's leadership.

Senior journalist Kupendran believes the RSS is working against Modi's re-election. He thinks they want to prevent him from becoming more powerful. The RSS is reportedly unhappy with Modi's self-promotion, sidelining of party leaders, and alleged attempts to undermine rivals like Nitin Gadkari.

This reported rift has sparked a national debate, especially with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The RSS is a Hindu nationalist organization that has been the ideological backbone of the BJP since its inception.

The BJP has been in power at the national level for the past ten years and in Uttar Pradesh for the past seven years. The upcoming Lok Sabha elections are scheduled for 2024.
