Good News for all UPSC aspirants: Get Rs 10,000 scholarship every month, here's how

Mumbai, Jan 14: Are you an UPSC aspirant? Are you preparing for the civil services examination in Maharashtra? Then get ready to receive Rs 10,000 scholarship everything.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a cabinet meeting on Jan 12 when the cabinet decided to provide the scholarships to UPSC aspirants in order to encourage people to appear for the prestigious examinations.

Total six coaching centres are there in Maharashtra -- in Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Amravati, Aurangabad and Nashik. At least 600 students are taking training in those institutes.

The state government-led by Fadnavis decided to spend total Rs 23.46 crore for this initiative, which includes cost of training at reputed institutes in Delhi. UPSC conducts several written examinations as well as interviews for selecting eligible and talented candidates at various posts.

The exam is conducted annually in three stages namely, preliminary, main and interview round to short list candidates.
