Gautam Adani Pays Tribute to Armed Forces, Outlines Bold Growth and Social Impact Vision at Adani Group AGM 2025
In a stirring annual general meeting address, Shri Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, paid homage to the Indian armed forces, acknowledged national tragedies, and outlined the Group’s record-breaking performance, bold expansion plans, and nation-first philosophy.

Opening with an emotional tribute, Adani saluted the courage of India’s defence forces during Operation Sindoor, underscoring that peace is not free but earned through sacrifice. "India knows the price of peace," he said, "but it also knows how to respond in the language of strength when challenged." He also offered heartfelt condolences for the victims of the Air India Flight 171 crash, urging all to carry both "gratitude and grief" as reminders of what truly matters.
Reflecting on global developments, Adani noted that while over 60 countries underwent electoral upheaval and conflict continued to impact supply chains and economic confidence globally, India emerged as a beacon of growth. He credited this resilience to the Indian government’s visionary and consistent policymaking at both central and state levels.
Adani proudly shared that despite facing intense scrutiny—including allegations from the US Department of Justice and the SEC concerning Adani Green Energy—no charges had been filed against the Group. He reiterated that the Adani Group remains committed to global governance standards and non-negotiable compliance frameworks.
Despite challenges, the Group posted impressive numbers in FY25: Revenue rose to ₹2,71,664 crore. Adjusted EBITDA touched ₹89,806 crore. Net Debt-to-EBITDA remained healthy at 2.6x. "Our businesses did not just scale, they created impact and inspired change," he declared.

Social Mission and Philanthropy
Reinforcing the Group’s commitment to nation-building, Adani detailed several philanthropic efforts: The Adani Healthcare Temples, 1,000-bed campuses in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, are being developed in partnership with Mayo Clinic to offer affordable world-class healthcare. Closing Reflections
Concluding his speech, Adani emphasized that the legacy of the Adani Group will be defined not by the size of its towers but by the scale of its beliefs and the conviction with which it serves the nation. "A nation’s future is not written in policy documents," he said. "It is written in the risks its entrepreneurs dare to take." In his parting note, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to shareholders and partners, reaffirming his belief that the Adani Group's most powerful chapters are still to come.
