Gangster Abu Salem convicted n 1995 murder case by special TADA court
Mumbai, Feb 16: A special TADA court on Monday convicted underworld don Abu Salem in the 1995 murder case of city-based builder Pradeep Jain.
This is the first judgement in a case involving Abu Salem in India.
On March 7, 1995 builder Pradeep Jain was shot dead by assailants outside his Juhu bungalow following a property dispute.
Salem, who was extradited from Portugal in November 2005, is facing trial in eight cases in the country including the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.
