Five including 4 Spanish tourists killed in accident in Andhra Pradesh
In a gory road mishap, four tourists from Spain and an Indian driver, were killed on the spot, when their mini bus had a head-on collision with a container.
Tirupati, Aug 5: Five persons including four Spain nationals were killed and nine others injured when their mini bus was involved in a collision with a container truck at Punganoor, about 100 kms from here on Saturday, police said.
The mishap occurred at about 10 AM when the tourist bus was proceeding to Puducherry from Puttaparti, they said.

Two Spanish nationals and the driver of the van died on the spot, while two others died en route to a hospital.
According to Punganur police, a group of 11 tourists from Spain, were on their way to Pondicherry from Puttaparthi. Around 9 AM, they left Madanapalle after visiting a missionary hospital. Close to Punganur, their vehicle met with the accident, which left it mangled.
The impact of the collision was so severe that the front portion of the van was completely crushed and the bodies were mutilated beyond recognition.
The nine injured were immediately rushed to Bengaluru in a special ambulance.
The four deceased were identified as Vicente Perez, Francisco Pedrosa, Joseph Moran and Nieves Lopez. The driver was yet to be identified.
