Earthquake of magnitude 4.3 hits Bihar’s Araria
An earthquake of 4.3 magnitude on the Richter Scale struck Bihar's Araria area at around 5.35 am on Wednesday morning. The depth of the earthquake was 10 Km beneath the epicentre near Purnia, National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.

People in the region woke up to panic-stricken experiences as they felt the jolt and came out of their homes.
According to some media reports, neighboring countries like Nepal and Bangladesh may too have been affected by the Bihar earthquake today.
However, no news of the loss of life or properties reported so far.

Earlier on March 22, strong tremors were felt across north India, including Delhi-NCR as an earthquake of magnitude 6.6 struck the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan.
The epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan. No loss to life or property was reported.
According to USGS, tremors were felt in Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
