Earthquake measuring 4.4 jolts Himachal Pradesh
An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter Scale jolted Mandi region of Himachal Pradesh on Friday morning.

The earthquake took place at 8.07 am today. The epicentre was 15 kms deep and was located close to Banjar, Himachal Pradesh.
No damage of property and loss of lives have been reported so far.
On October 10, an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 hit the Andaman Islands. The Andaman and Nicobar archipelago falls under a high seismic zone.
On October 3, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 hit Manipur's Ukhrul region.
