Don't force Kashmir girls to participate in Independence Day, says Zakir Musa
Musa claimed that Indian forces were “scared” to fight with militants in the valley.
In a fresh warning, Zakir Musa, has warned institutions in Kashmir against forcing girls from taking part in Independence Day celebrations. Musa who had broken away from the Hizbul Mujahideen to form an outfit affiliated to the al-Qaeda said a principle of an educational institution was "forcing" girls to participate in the parade on August 15 celebrations on India's Independence Day at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar.

"The principle is threatening the girls of issuing them discharge certificates if they don't participate in the parade where they have to exhibit their bodies," Musa said in a 4.8 minute video clip.
He warned the principle not to take girls "forcibly" to participate in the parade at Bakshi Stadium. "Instead forcing our sisters to participate in August 15 celebrations, the principle should take her daughters there," he said.
"After Abu Dujana got martyred, the Indian media defamed him that he was harassing the Kashmiri girls and their parents that are totally baseless allegations. Everyone knows how the Mujahidin are fighting here and people should not believe what the Indian media says," he said.
Musa claimed that Indian forces were "scared" to fight with militants in the valley. "The Indian army often says that its brave soldiers eliminate militants here. The reality is militants fight like lions, he also said.
