Delhi police deny dharna permission amid law and order concerns
Delhi Police also took action on related protests in the capital. On Wednesday, police denied permission for a Delhi Youth Congress dharna. The proposed venue was Jantar Mantar. The dharna was planned for February 26. Police cited short notice and existing law and order concerns.
Separately, Delhi Police had raided Himachal Sadan on Saturday midnight. Reports said Youth Congress workers from the protest had been housed there.
