Former Delhi Constable and Accomplices Arrested for Deceptive Murder of Monika Yadav
An ex-Delhi police constable, along with two accomplices, has been arrested on charges of murdering a former female constable named Monika Yadav. They had also misled her family into thinking she was still alive.
In a shocking revelation, the mother of a former woman constable who was allegedly killed by her ex-colleague two years ago has demanded stern action against the accused. The case, which has caused considerable unrest and concern in New Delhi, involves deceit and misdirection that led the victim's family to believe she was still alive.
Details of the Case

The deceased woman, Monika Yadav (28), had previously worked with her alleged murderer, Delhi Police constable Surender Singh (42). According to reports released on Sunday, Singh along with his brother-in-law and another accomplice have been arrested for their involvement in Yadav's death. In an elaborate ruse designed to deceive Yadav’s family into believing she was still alive, they reportedly left false clues behind.
A Mother's Agony
The victim's mother expressed her torment over not knowing about her daughter's whereabouts for such a long time. Speaking over the phone from Bulandshahr she said "I had been running from pillar to post just to know about my daughter’s whereabouts." She further added that her younger daughter decided to meet the Delhi Police Commissioner a few months ago seeking help in this matter. After understanding their plight, he assured them of proper investigation into Monika Yadav’s disappearance.
The Arrest and Demand for Justice
Following thorough investigations by the police department under scrutiny from higher authorities including the commissioner himself; Surender Singh was finally apprehended as an accused in this case. "Police have now arrested the accused constable", confirmed Monika’s mother expressing relief at this development but also demanding strict legal action against him.
Motive Behind The Murder
Surender Singh had allegedly been stalking Yadav persistently insisting on marrying him. When his advances were rebuffed, he strangled her to death in a fit of rage. Not content with this horrific act, Singh along with his brother-in-law Ravin (26) and Rajpal (33), buried the body near a nullah in the Pushta area. They then proceeded to orchestrate an elaborate deception to mislead Yadav's family about her fate.
In conclusion, this chilling case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers stalking poses and the lengths some individuals will go to hide their crimes. The victim’s family is now seeking justice for Monika Yadav, demanding strict action against all those involved in her murder and subsequent cover-up. Their hope is that such stringent punishment will serve as a deterrent for potential criminals while also ensuring that no other family has to endure what they have gone through.
