Delhi: Man Tries To Commit Suicide Near Parliament, Sets Himself On Fire | Video

A man attempted to end his life by self-immolation near the Indian Parliament, as reported by Delhi Police. The individual, identified as Jitendra from Bagpat in Uttar Pradesh, was rushed to RML Hospital with severe burns covering 90% of his body.

Authorities discovered a two-page suicide note at the scene. The note's contents are under investigation. "Today one person probably Jitendra of Uttar Pradesh's Bagpat set himself on fire in roundabout rail Bhavan. The local police and railway police along with some civil persons immediately extinguished the fire and the person was sent to hospital. The issue as we can decipher is probably related and personal enmity in Bagpat. Further investigation is on," said police.
