New Delhi, Mar 14 (PTI) Delhi Minister Ashish Sood on Saturday said the Delhi Khel Mahakumbh aims to strengthen the sports ecosystem in the capital and provide young athletes with opportunities to compete and prepare for higher-level competitions.

Speaking at the finals of the volleyball competition held at SKV A Block School in Janakpuri, Sood said the initiative is aimed at encouraging participation of the youth in sports and helping athletes prepare for national and international events. Additional Director Nitin Jindal was also present on the occasion.
