Delhi Govt Official Can't Impregnate, Underwent Vasectomy 20 Years Ago: Lawyer Of Rape Accused
The lawyer of the Delhi government officer accused of repeatedly raping and impregnating a minor girl has denied the allegations of pregnancy saying Premoday Khakha had undergone Vasectomy two decades ago.
"We are ready to face any challenge. Allegations of pregnancy against him are false and baseless as he underwent Vasectomy 20 years ago," Umashankar Gautam, the lawyer for the accused said.

Vasectomy is a method of male contraception that interrupts the flow of sperm into your semen. This procedure involves cutting and closing the tubes responsible for transporting sperm.
Premoday Khakha, the accused, an ex-cadre officer, had allegedly raped the girl several times between November 2020 and January 2021. His wife Seema Rani has also been charged with giving the girl medicine to terminate her pregnancy.
A 51-year-old deputy director in the Woman and Child Development department of the Delhi government and his wife were arrested on Monday in connection with the rape of the minor girl.
The victim was drugged before being raped by the accused, police sources told NDTV. She was first raped on October 31, 2020. The victim reportedly suffered panic attacks after being repeatedly raped by the accused. As a result, she dropped out of school.
The incident came to light after she started the counselling session at a Delhi hospital while she underwent treatment for panic attacks.
