Congress Leader K Sudhakaran Issues Warning About Possible Demolition of CPI(M) Offices in Kerala
A Congress office in Kerala was reportedly vandalised, prompting a strong response from the party's state leader, K Sudhakaran. On Sunday, while inaugurating a new Congress office in Venduttayi, Sudhakaran warned that CPIM offices could be destroyed overnight. He stated that just ten Congress workers could bring down CPIM offices in one night.

Sudhakaran emphasised that the Congress does not advocate violence but would retaliate if necessary. "We do not promote violence but, if you say it is required, we will retaliate in the same way," he said. He assured party workers that they were prepared to respond if provoked.
Allegations Against CPIM
The incident occurred late on Saturday when a new Congress booth committee office in Venduttayi was allegedly vandalised. This location is near Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's hometown of Pinarayi. The Congress has accused the CPIM of being behind the attack.
Sudhakaran criticised Vijayan and challenged him to maintain the dignity expected of a leader. He questioned whether Vijayan thought the Congress could not dismantle CPIM offices. "Do you Vijayan think we cannot dismantle your offices?" he asked.
Warning of Retaliation
Sudhakaran's remarks highlighted the tension between the two parties. He warned that if the CPIM wanted to test their resolve, they would see what could happen. "If the CPIM wants to test us, let them see what will happen," he added.
He further asserted that Congress members were ready to act if needed. "I will show you that our boys are ready," Sudhakaran declared, indicating their preparedness for any confrontation.
The incident has heightened political tensions in Kerala, with both parties accusing each other of instigating violence. The situation remains tense as both sides await further developments.
