Rahul Gandhi's Road Trip To Pangong Lake Goes Viral - See Pics

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi remembered his late father Rajiv Gandhi in his recent Instagram post where he was seen taking a road trip to Ladakh.

Sharing pictures on Instagram, the Congress leader quoted, "On our way to Pangong Lake, which my father used to say, is one of the most beautiful places in the world."

In these pictures, Gandhi was seen riding a bike wearing a blue jacket and a helmet. He was accompanied by a few other people. He was also seen taking some pictures during his road trip.

Reportedly, this is Gandhi's first visit to Ladakh since Jammu and Kashmir were divided into Ladakh and J&K, following the abrogation of Article 370.

Gandhi was on a two-day tour to Ladakh. However, he extended his tour by six more days.

Congress' Leh District Spokesperson and Leader Of Opposition in LAHDC-Leh, Tsering Namgyal asserted, "He hasn't been to Pangong Lake and wanted to see it and spend some quality time."

During his road trip, Gandhi communicated with some youths on various political issues. Taking a dig at the opposition, he said, "The Constitution is a move... The way you put Constitution into action is by setting up institutions that support the vision of the Constitution. The Lok Sabha, and Rajya Sabha, force all these elements... Now what RSS is doing is it is placing its own people in key pots of institutional structure."
