Class X and XII exams begin in UP
The Class X and XII exams began on Thursday in Uttar Pradesh after it was deferred due to state assembly elections.
Lucknow, March 16: The exams for classes X and XII for the Uttar Pradesh Board began on Thursday, education officials said. The exams were deferred due to the state assembly elections, an official told IANS while informing that at 7.30 am, the class X exam started with the Hindi paper while that of class XII started with Military Science.
Secretary of the Board, Shail Yadav informed that 11,413 centres are allotted in the state for conducting the exams.

About 34 lakh students are appearing for the class X exams and 26.56 lakh students for class XII.
