Chhattisgarh: BSF convoy attacked in Sukma, 2 jawans killed

Raipur, Nov 12: A landmine blast in the Maoist-hit Sukma district of Chhattisgarh today claimed the lives of 2 jawans. A civilian was also killed. The blast triggered between two vehicles carrying BSF jawans, in Kerlapal camp, returning from poll duty in the region.

"Soon after getting news of the incident, additional forces were rushed to the spot and the injured were being retrieved from there," said Additional Director General Police (Naxal Operations), R K Vij. The blast occurred on a road near Manjhipara and badeshetti villages.
