Chennai rains: I wonder why Rajinikanth didn't do anything to stop rain?, asks Ram Gopal Varma
Chennai, Dec 4: Controversial Bollywood Director Ram Gopal Varma once again shown his anger. This time it was for Tollywood's 'Thalaiva' and legendary actor Rajinikanth. Varma on Thursday, Dec 3, hit out at Rajinikanth's donation of Rs 10 lakh for the Chennai flood victims.
On the micro-blogging site Twitter, RGV in a series of tweets, condemned God, while saying," since rain is act of God instead of praying shouldn't every1 b condemning God,unless they blve all Chennaities r sinners n God is punishing."

RGV even targeted few Telugu actors for donating less amount for Chennai victims and he even addressed Telugu actors in their native language, to make his point clear.
It can be noted that Rajinikanth on Wednesday, Dec 2, donated Rs 10 lakh to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund. In an apparent dig at the Tamil superstar, RGV mentioned the donations contributed by young stars like Suriya (Rs 25 lakh), Allu Arjun (Rs 25 lakh), Junior NTR (Rs 10 lakh) and Vishal (Rs 10 lakh), while comparing iconic star's small amount donation for his beloved people of Chennai.
Have a look on his series of tweets for Chennai Flood victims, that has brought the motor-mouth director into a spotlight:

Celebs give quintals of prayers and tonnes of love, but very very few rupees because prayers and love are cheap and money costs money

As per me I never donated one rupee and am supremely selfish unlike celebs who give quintals of prayers and tonnes of love

I condemn all celebs who pray to God in context of Chennai sufferings because it amounts to praying to a Terrorist for his dastardly act
— Ram Gopal Varma (@RGVzoomin) December 3, 2015 According to sources, it was confirmed that Rajinikanth is presently not in the country and he announced the fund amount without probing the flood situation of Chennai. [Rajinikanth donates Rs.10 lakh for rain-hit Tamil Nadu]
Chennai has never witnessed such flood situation in last 100 years. As this was the first time that unprecedented rain lashed the city and calmed more than 270 lives till now.
