In the video, Stalin was seen pushing the man who was trying to take a selfie with the DMK leader. Stalin was also seen discomfited by the man's proximity, he struck the man's face.

However, Stalin's manager overruled reports saying that Stalin did not slap anyone. Rather the DMK leader was trying to disburse the crowd that gathered around him and accidentally hit the man, his manager added.

This was not the first time when Stalin slapped someone "accidentally". Similar incident took place during his first Metro tour in Chennai.

Stalin was seen slapping a young DMK work during his Joy Ride in Chennai Metro. However, it was told that Stalin was asking the man to get away from woman passengers and had "inadvertently touched him" due to a train jolt..

Stalin is the younger son of DMK supremo M Karunanidhi. Currently, he is on a state-tour in order to woo the voters ahead of the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. The assembly election is expected to be held in 2016.
