Clueless about how Sunanda Pushkar died say Delhi police
The Delhi High Court on Thursday had asked the city police to file a status report with regard to the ongoing probe into the death of Sunanada Pushkar.
The Delhi Police submitted the status report to Delhi HC saying the cause of Sunanda Pushkar's death is unknown. Sunanda, wife of Congress lawmaker Shashi Tharoor was found dead in Room no. 345 of Hotel Leela Palace in 2014.
Meanwhile, Sunanda Puskhar's son has filed an application in Delhi HC asking to be made a party in the case.
Swamy demands probe by other agency
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Saturday said, "Some other agency should investigate Sunanda Pushkar's death.Shashi Tharoor has lied and evidences have been tampered."
Earlier, the Delhi High Court on Thursday had asked the city police to file a status report with regard to the ongoing probe into the death of Sunanada Pushkar.
A bench of Justices GS Sistani and Chander Shekhar directed police to place within three days their report during hearing of Subramanian Swamy's plea for a court-monitored probe by the CBI-led SIT into the matter.
The direction was issued by the bench after Delhi Police standing counsel Rahul Mehra informed the court that the status report of the investigating agency has been given to him in the court room so he wants to go through it before placing it on record.
Yesterday, the court directed Delhi Police to de-seal hotel room in four weeks, where Sunanda Pushkar was found dead.
