Results will be declared for the by-elections in five seats across Rajasthan and West Bengal on Thursday. The bypolls are a crucial contest ahead of the state Assembly elections due later this year.
The counting of votes of the Alwar and Ajmer Lok Sabha seats is done in the respective constituencies, whereas it will take place in Bhilwara for the Mandalgarh assembly seat, and the election results will be declared on the Election Commission website.
The results are a tough test for two of India's leading female chief ministers, Rajasthan's Vasundhara Raje and West Bengal's Mamata Banerjee, in their home turf.
