Bollywood star comedian Rajpal Yadav arrested in Delhi
Delhi High Court on Tuesday, Dec 3 remanded him to 10-day police custody. Justice S Murlidhar also asked Yadav's wife to remain present in the Registrar General's office till the rising of the court. The judge also issued a contempt of court notice against two lawyers representing the couple.
Earlier another famous comedian Kapil Sharma had faced the wrath of law while Income Tax (IT) officials grilled him over tax evasion case.

The famous comedian, who has been brought to fame by his popular TV comedy show "Comedy Nights with Kapil" in Colors, was accused of evading the service tax to the tune of Rs 65 lakh.
Sharma, according to the service tax officials in Mumbai, had registered himself with service tax department but did not pay it. One of the officials was quoted as saying, "He (Kapil Sharma) had collected service tax, but didn't pay to the department."
However, Sharma had assured to pay service tax by demand draft soon, informed media reports. The service tax department also had threatened to freeze Sharma's bank accounts if the comedian fails to pay the tax.
