Mumbai, April 2: Somy Ali, one of the women who dated Bollywood heartthrob for a long time, revealed that she was sexually abused at the age of 5.

Speaking about her decision to run such an organisation, Somy was quoted as saying, "I grew up amidst an atmosphere of domestic violence in Pakistan and many of my mom's friends were victims of physical abuse as well."
"When I would ask my mom about the bruises on their bodies, I was always told that X aunty or Y aunty fell down the stairs. This was the standard, universal euphemism for physical abuse," she added.
Gradually, she spoke about her childhood and a shocking experiences she had had as a child.
She said, "I was sexually assaulted by a house-help when I was just five."
She also claimed that she never hesitates to share this dark side of her life as she believes that sharing her personal experiences would encourage others to speak out and not be ashamed about being a victim.
