Delhi MCD election 2017: BJP releases manifesto

Manoj Tiwari promises food for Rs 10/ plate under Deen Dayal Antyodaya Rasoi Yojna if BJP comes to power in corporations.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday released its manifesto for upcoming municipal polls in Delhi.

Here are some of the manifestos mentioned below.

• No new tax will be included by corporations in next five years
• Provision of cow shelters, provision of food for cows
• MCD would become completely digital
• Subsided food at Rs 10 under Deen Dyal Antoyada Scheme
• Licences for events would be issued through a single-window system
• Delhi would become garbage-free
• Garbage from landfill sites would be used to build highways
• Advanced machines to be used for garbage cleaning
• Markets would be cleaned every night
• Restrooms for MCD workers
