BJP MLA Nand Kishor Gurjar Meets CM Yogi Adityanath to Address Dasna Temple Incident

During a meeting on Monday, BJP MLA Nand Kishor Gurjar informed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath about the incident at Dasna temple in Ghaziabad. On October 4, members of the Muslim community reportedly threw stones at the temple. This was in response to comments allegedly made by priest Yati Narsinghanand about Prophet Muhammad.

Gurjar Meets Adityanath Over Dasna Incident

Gurjar shared on X, "Today I met Honble Chief Minister @myogiadityanath ji and apprised him of all aspects of Devi Dasna Mandir. Honble Chief Minister has asked to maintain peace in the matter. He also said that no culprit will be spared." He also posted a photograph from his meeting with the chief minister.

Protests and Arrests

On Sunday, Gurjar was prevented from visiting the Dasna temple to support Narsinghanand. Gurjar has demanded that Rohingya Muslims be expelled from India and called for the National Security Act to be applied against those accused of attacking the temple. Narsinghanand is facing several FIRs and protests from Muslim groups due to his alleged remarks about Prophet Muhammad.

The remarks were reportedly made during an event at Hindi Bhavan in Lohiya Nagar on September 29. These comments are said to violate Section 302 of BNS, which addresses offences related to intentionally hurting religious sentiments through words or sounds.

Legal Actions and Developments

Anil Yadav, aged 40, who is closely associated with Narsinghanand, was arrested on October 11 in connection with the case. Known as Chhota Narsinghanand, Yadav is a co-accused in this matter. The situation remains tense as authorities continue their investigation into the incident.

The chief minister has urged for calm and assured that those responsible will face consequences. The ongoing tensions highlight the need for dialogue and understanding among communities to prevent further conflicts.
