BJP Has Accepted Defeat In Karnataka Says Congress
Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said that the BJP has accepted defeat in the Karnataka Assembly elections. He also went on to thank the crores of voters who voted for the Congress.
Surjewala also underlined that the Congress belief that it would claim a comfortable majority in the elections after the votes are counted on Saturday. He also said that the Congress would form the government in the state.

"I want to thank the 6.5 crore people of Karnataka who have voted for the Congress. Let us wait till tomorrow... till the results are out. BJP has admitted their defeat," he said.
When asked by reporters about a post-poll deal with the JD(S), he said, "let
them go wherever they want to go. I am confident about the Congress forming the government with a decent majority."
The comments comes in the wake of the exit polls predicting a tight fight in Karnataka.

Former chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, whose party is expected to win around 30 seats said that his party is ready to deal with any party.
Surjewala said that the tactics of the BJP have failed in Karnataka.
"Congress members worked hard in taking the party's five major poll promises to people. We are humbled with the numbers that exit polls predicted but let us wait for tomorrow," he said.
All exit polls have given the Congress the slight edge in the state. However many exit polls have predicted a hung house and suggested that the JD(S) may once again end up playing kingmaker.
