Bizarre: Police summons parrot for hurling abuses at a woman !
Mumbai, Aug 18: In a bizarre incident, a parrot was summoned by the police for hurling abuses at a woman.
The report came from Rajura City in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, where a 85-year-old woman named Janabai Sarkharkar alleged that parrot was indulging in obscene activities.

But the reality behind parrot's unusual behaviour came to light when it was revealed that the woman was going through a property dispute with her stepson, Suresh Sarkharkar.
She told police that her stepson has trained Hariyal (the parrot) to use slang words against her.

Following the complaint, police handed over the parrot to the forest department for rehabilitation, as there is no law to punish parrot.
