Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Step-by-Step Guide to Download e-Voter ID on Mobile

Bihar is set to go to the polls in the first phase of Assembly Elections 2025 on November 6, with 121 constituencies voting. The campaign for this phase concluded on Tuesday evening, with both ruling and opposition parties making their final push to reach voters.

Key Seats in Phase 1

Prominent constituencies in the first phase include Raghopur, where Tejashwi Yadav is contesting; Mahua, where his brother Tej Pratap Yadav is contesting with a new political outfit; and Tarapur, the seat of Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary. Other high-profile contests include Alinagar, from where singer Maithili Thakur is contesting on a BJP ticket; Lakhisarai, represented by Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha; and Raghunathpur, where Osama Shahab, son of the late gangster-turned-politician Md Shahabuddin, is contesting for the RJD.

The second phase of polling for the remaining 122 seats will be held on November 11, with vote counting scheduled for November 14.

Carry Valid ID to Polling Booth

Voters must carry a valid identity document at the polling station, which should match the details in the voter roll maintained by booth officials. Accepted IDs include EPIC (voter ID), Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or any other government-approved ID.

• Visit the official Election Commission Voter Service Portal: https://voters.eco.gov.in
• Click on the e-EPIC download option on the homepage.
• Log in using your registered mobile number, EPIC number, or email ID. New users can sign up to create an account.
• Enter your EPIC number (voter ID) or Form Reference Number in the designated field.
• Select your state from the dropdown menu and click Search.
• An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter it and click Verify.
• Once verified, click on Download e-EPIC to get your digital voter ID.

• If you do not remember your EPIC number or have misplaced your voter ID:
• Visit https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/
• Enter your name, father's name, district, and state to search your voter details.
• Once located, you can download your EPIC card and also carry other valid IDs like Aadhaar, PAN, or Passport to the polling booth.
