Bharat Bandh hits Twitter; Indians display anger, disappointment
Bengaluru, Sept 2: Nation-wide bandh hit normal life in the country, especially in West Bengal, Kerala, the two states where Left parties still enjoy huge support.

Bandh has been observed across India on Wednesday, Sept 2. The bandh was called by coordination committee of 11 central trade unions against NDA government's proposed Bills amending labour laws, the Contract Act, the Electricity Act and Factory Act.

In West Bengal, all shops, schools, educational institutions were closed. Businessmen were scared to continue their daily business fearing protest by the groups who supported the bandh.

Despite Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's repeated warnings, most of the employees chose not to go to their offices.

Buses, autos remained off roads in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi and other cities across the country on Wednesday. Bandh supporters showed protest on railway tracks hampering train services.
However, this Bharat Bandh did not go well with the aam aadmi (common man) of the country. Micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with comments which showed their anger and disappointments.
