Colorful Shobha Yatra and Festive Atmosphere

A colorful shobha yatra, organized by a group of women from Uttarakhand, added to the festive atmosphere in Ayodhya. The procession, featuring a rath carrying artistes dressed as Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lord Laxman, captivated the crowd as they chanted "Jai Shri Ram." Participants expressed their joy and anticipation for the upcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram temple on January 22.

Distribution of Worshipped Akshat

In the spirit of devotion, organizers in Ayodhya began distributing worshipped akshat, a mixture of rice grains, turmeric, and ghee, to devotees on New Year's Day. This practice will continue until January 15, a week before the pran pratishtha, the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple.
