Assam CM Seeks Vice President's Intervention in AAP MP Incident

In a recent statement, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma called for the Vice President's intervention over an incident involving AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's official residence. Highlighting a pattern of behavior, Sarma referenced a previous allegation against Kejriwal concerning the assault of a Delhi chief secretary, emphasizing the gravity of the situation where a Chief Minister is accused of assaulting a Rajya Sabha MP. Swati Maliwal reported to the Civil Lines Police Station on Monday, alleging that a member of Kejriwal's personal staff had assaulted her at the Chief Minister's residence.
