Arvind Kejriwal To Campaign For INDIA Bloc In Maharashtra And Jharkhand Elections
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, Arvind Kejriwal, is set to campaign for the I.N.D.I.A bloc candidates in Maharashtra's upcoming assembly elections. He will focus on constituencies where AAP has a strong volunteer presence and where Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidates are not controversial. Despite not contesting in Maharashtra, AAP will support MVA through campaigning efforts.
Party insiders have revealed that Shiv Sena-UBT and NCP-SP have requested Kejriwal's involvement in Maharashtra. Alongside him, other senior AAP leaders will also lend their support to MVA candidates. Kejriwal's influence is expected to be particularly effective in urban areas where his appeal could convert into votes for the INDIA Bloc.

Campaign Strategy and Alliances
In Jharkhand, Kejriwal is anticipated to campaign for Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidates. The BJP will contest the assembly elections there in partnership with All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), Janata Dal (United) (JD-U), and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP). Meanwhile, JMM, Rashtriya Janata Dal, and Congress are joining forces for the election.
The Maharashtra assembly elections are slated for November 20, with results expected on November 23 across all 288 constituencies. In Jharkhand, voting will occur in two phases on November 13 and November 20, with counting scheduled for November 23.
Kejriwal's Recent Developments
Earlier this year, Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate concerning the Delhi excise policy case. After spending time in Tihar Jail, he was granted bail by the Supreme Court last month. Upon his release, he made an unexpected announcement of resigning from his Chief Minister position until AAP wins again in next year's assembly elections as a testament to his honesty.
Kejriwal's decision to step down reflects his commitment to integrity and public trust. His campaign efforts are now focused on supporting allies within the INDIA Bloc across different states during these crucial elections.
