Anti-bifurcation groups call 48-hour bandh in Seemandhra
"People need not feel that the division is over with the Cabinet approval. We should oppose it when it comes to assembly and Parliament. The employees would continue their strike. We would like to ask Union Ministers K S Rao and M M Pallam Raju and public representatives about their future plans," P Ashok Babu, president of Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers Association, which is spearheading the united-Andhra agitation, told reporters here.
The united-Andhra supporters would also block highways during the 48-hour shut-down starting at 6 am tomorrow, he said.
