Andhra Pradesh: Man Enters Lion's Enclosure At A Zoo, Mauled To Death
The passion to click a selfie with a lion claimed a man's life. According to the reports, a man was mauled to death after he jumped into a lion's enclosure at Andhra Pradesh's Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park in Tirupati. The deceased was later identified as Prahlad, a resident of Rajasthan. The reports said, the tourist came to see the lion, and breaking all the rules he intentionally jumped into the lion's enclosure, a restricted area.
Reports added that zoo staff tried to stop Prahlad but ignoring the danger he jumped into the enclosure to click a selfie with the lion.

Reacting to the man's intrusion, the lion attacked him and mauled him to death.
Eyewitnesses told the media that after feeling the danger Prahlad climbed a tree to evade the lion's assault. However, the lion jumped on him and bit his neck, leading to on-the-spot death.
Soon after the incident, local police were informed by the zoo administration and a case has been lodged. The zoo staff then evacuated all visitors from the premises and denied entry to new visitors. The investigation is underway and police are scanning all the CCTV installed near the spot.
An eyewitness told the police that the man, who jumped into the lion's enclosure was drunk and not in his complete sense.
Assistant Forest Conservator Dhanraj told media that Prahlad violated all safety protocols and advisories written near to lion's enclosure and warnings by the zoo staff that resulted in his death.
