All In Smiles! Eknath Shinde Mocks Ajit Pawar For Taking Oath In Morning and Evening In 2022

The Mahayuti alliance leaders Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath, and Ajit Pawar were all in smiles as they handed over the letter of support to Governor CP Radhakrishnan signed by BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP (Ajit Pawar) fraction MLAs. BJP won 132 seats, Shiv Sena clinched 54, and NCP (AP) bagged 41 seats in the recently concluded 288 assembly seats election.

After handing over the proposal to form the Government in Maharashtra, all the top leaders of Mahayuti addressed the media to confirm the Chief Minister's name. During the press conference, a journalist asked a question related to the names of the ministers who will be taking oath as state cabinet ministers. To which, Ajit Pawar confidently replied that he will be taking the oath for sure, leaving everyone in splits.

The statement was on a very lighter note, but his friend and alliance partner Eknath Shinde, hit back at him in a similar humours manner saying Ajit Dada has experience of taking oath in the morning and evening, both.

To which, everyone laughed with their lungs out.

As per the reported schedule, the Maharashtra Chief Minister's oath ceremony will take place on December 5, 2024, at Mumbai's iconic Azad Maidan from 5:30 pm onwards. It has been learned that Chief Minister and 2 Deputy Chief Ministers will take oath, after which, Mahayuti leaders will decide the allocation of portfolios.

The Ministers for the state cabinet are also likely to take oath of office a day after the CM's oath ceremony.
