Air India Suspends All Flights To Tel Aviv Till Thursday Amid Rising Conflict In Middle East

Air India has announced the suspension of its flights to and from Tel Aviv in Israel due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

The suspension is effective immediately and will last until August 8, 2024.

The airline issued a statement emphasizing, "In view of the ongoing situation in parts of the Middle East, we have suspended scheduled operation of our flights to and from Tel Aviv with immediate effect up to and including 08 August 2024."

Air India assured passengers affected by the suspension that they are "continuously monitoring the situation and are extending support to our passengers with confirmed bookings for travel to and from Tel Aviv during this period, with a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges." The safety of passengers and crew was emphasised as the airline's "foremost priority."

Additionally, the airline has canceled its flights AI139 from Delhi to Tel Aviv and AI140 from Tel Aviv to Delhi on August 1, 2024, due to operational reasons.

Passengers with confirmed bookings on these flights will also be provided with a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges.

Air India expressed its regret for the inconvenience caused to its passengers.
