Active Western Disturbance To Affect Northwest India From Tomorrow: IMD
A new Western Disturbance is expected to become active over Northwest India, including parts of Rajasthan, in the next 24 to 48 hours, according to a weather department official on Monday.
The Jaipur Meteorological Center has forecasted thunderstorms and rainfall in certain areas of the state within the next 24 hours as a result of this disturbance.

Starting from Tuesday, thunderstorms are likely to occur in parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner divisions of western Rajasthan, and some areas of eastern Rajasthan, particularly Jaipur and Bharatpur.
The impact of this weather system is expected to peak between May 24 and May 26. The intensity of thunderstorms and rainfall may further increase after 48 hours.
As a result of this weather activity, a decrease in temperature by two to four degrees Celsius is anticipated, added Sharma.
In the past 24 hours, Bhilwara's Sahada recorded 15 mm of rain, Jhalrapatan in Jhalawar recorded 8 mm, Rashmi in Chittorgarh recorded 5 mm, Jhalawar recorded 5 mm, Gangadhar recorded 3 mm, Baran recorded 3 mm, and Pachpahar in Jhalawar recorded 2 mm. Churu recorded the highest temperature in the state at 45.7 degrees Celsius on Monday, followed by Dholpur at 45.3 degrees Celsius, Tonk at 45 degrees Celsius, Kota at 44.8 degrees Celsius, Bikaner at 44.6 degrees Celsius, Pilani at 44.4 degrees Celsius, Banasthali at 44.2 degrees Celsius, and Anta at 44.3 degrees Celsius, as per meteorological data.
